Grateful today for marginalized things. Remember when you were a kid? Driving past a field of cows was amazing. And getting one to moo back at you was an awesome accomplishment. As an adult? Not so much. Cows? What cows? So I’m grateful, today, for keeping in touch with the eyes of a child. Specifically for the remembered excitement of looking a cow right in the eyes, no longer marginalizing her, but realizing she, too, is a living, breathing entity.
