In Truro, Nova Scotia, there’s a river that, when the tide comes in, reverses and flows upstream. It’s an odd, somewhat unsettling sight, this 180-degree change, especially at 2 a.m., which was when we got up to see it. I felt the same way today when a neighbor seemed to do a 180 on an issue we were struggling with. It’s a good thing, but it left us wondering what just happened … So today, I’m grateful for whatever caused his change of perspective.
