What an auspicious find – or in my mind, a quantum flirt! Today we found a golf ball mired in the red clay unearthed by our excavator at our new home site. It’s a “Hogan 1.” Despite the fact that Charlie golfs, which is cool in itself, there’s another meaning here. Think about the definition of hogan — a Navajo Indian dwelling usually made of logs and mud with a door traditionally facing east. It’s a great sign that we’ll soon have our own hogan sitting on that site, coincidentally facing east. Grateful for little signs that offer encouragement.
