Weighed down with winter — ice, snow and seemingly endless cold — nature bends. She flexes, she embraces resilience, she sways, but she doesn’t break. There’s a lesson in there. For that, I’m grateful.

A beautiful, glorious lesson. It reminds me of the willow tree, which I love more than any other for just the reasons you write about. And, of course, I think they are downright gorgeous.
It does seem as though those kinds of trees and plants weather adversity unscathed, for the most part, by flexing with the elements. I truly believe there is a lesson in there for all of us. Thank you, Kelly!
